While $100 is certainly not cheap, the right LEGO® gift under this amount can be worth its weight in gold. This is my list of the best LEGO® sets under $100 — updated for 2026 with current prices and availability. Fair warning: every set on this original list has now retired, which changes the math in some interesting ways (more on that below). $100 LEGO® sets (usually) are made for more advanced builders and an older demographic – which means they are perfect for you!

## 2026 Price Check: Where These LEGO® Sets Under $100 Stand Now

Every set on this list has officially left LEGO® shelves — and that is exactly [why LEGO® retires sets](/okf/posts/lego-faqs-how-to/why-does-lego-retire-sets.md) in the first place: scarcity keeps the brand hot. The good news for budget builders is that retirement hasn’t priced most of these out of the under-$100 club yet. Here’s the honest 2026 rundown:

       Tallneck Set **76989** — 1,222 pieces MSRP $89.99 2026 Sealed ~$130 Status Retired Dagobah Diorama Set **75330** — 1,000 pieces MSRP $89.99 2026 Sealed ~$85 Status Retired The Crystal King Set **71772** — 722 pieces MSRP $79.99 2026 Sealed ~$100 Status Retired Cozy House 3-in-1 Set **31139** — 808 pieces MSRP $59.99 2026 Sealed ~$60 Status Retired

My take? The Dagobah Diorama and Cozy House are the steals here — retired sets sitting at retail price won’t stay that way forever. The Tallneck has already made its move, climbing steadily since retirement. If you’re hunting for more retired gems, here’s [where to buy old LEGO® sets](/okf/posts/lego-faqs-how-to/where-to-buy-old-lego-sets-pieces-minifigures-easy.md) without getting fleeced. ## LEGO® Sets Under $100 FAQ

### What are the best LEGO® sets under $100 in 2026?

The Tallneck (76989), Dagobah Jedi Training Diorama (75330), NINJAGO Crystal King (71772), and Creator Cozy House (31139) all deliver serious build value under $100 — though all four have retired, so grab them on the aftermarket while prices remain near retail.

### Are retired LEGO® sets under $100 still worth buying?

Absolutely — especially when they’re sitting at or near their original retail price. Retired sets only get scarcer, so a sealed copy at MSRP is essentially a free option on future appreciation. The Dagobah Diorama is the textbook example right now.

### Is $100 enough for a good adult LEGO® set?

Sheesh, yes. The $80-$100 band regularly delivers 700-1,200+ piece sets with exclusive minifigures and real display presence. You don’t need to drop $500 on an Icons flagship to get a build that impresses.

If you have your LEGO® budget set to $100, embrace your love for gaming, cinematic adventures, or the enchanting realm of LEGO® NINJAGO. All of these sets are exhilarating and satisfying building experiences that can be purchased without breaking the bank…_too much_!
