Zombies Rise From Amazon’s Graveyard Webpages To Your Minifigure Collection
I think all of us have, at some point, wanted to build a Walking Dead MOC or a World War Z apocalyptic build. I have found that not only are LEGO® minifigures are perfectly printed and expressive for these kinds of models, but that they are so well detailed they can bring your undead cityscapes to life!
LEGO® Series 14 Minifigure Zombie Businessman
This businessman has seen better days, and from the grey hue of his printed skin, you can tell he has been dead for some time and not just from his dead-end job! All jokes aside, the printing on this minifig is phenomenal.
For starters, he has one closed eye and a broken pair of glasses that cover his one open red eye. The detailing of the head piece is marvelous. The legs, arms, and torso are all printed to match a dark blue, tattered suit that has been through hell and back. Lastly, he has a briefcase and holds the “Zombie Times” print newspaper (freakin’ hysterical).
Undead Rating: 9/10
LEGO® Series 14 Minifigure Zombie Pirate Captain
Nowhere near as scary as the Pirates of The Caribbean, but this red and grey pirate zombie does the trick.
He has an expertly printed, gap-toothed head, a wonderfully tattered maroon print, and a peg leg. But, the best part is probably the undead beard accessory that goes around his neck.
The wooden peg for the leg, the silver scimitar, and the silver hook hand are all a nice bonus. All printing and accessories aside, he is not as spooky looking as the other LEGO® minifigures!
Undead Rating: 7/10
Booster Bricks LEGO® Classic Zombie Minifigure
Check out Booster Bricks LEGO® Classic Zombie Minifigure! Okay, so technically speaking, this is a prime example of a custom LEGO® minifigure. Booster bricks takes real LEGO® pieces, custom crafts, and prints these pieces to sell truly diabolical builds on third-party platforms like Amazon.
This minifigure is frightening and the best of the four I have listed — easily! This minifigure’s skin is a light grey, and the dark grey clothing with yellow tinges makes it seem like this character has been roaming the Earth searching for brains for a bit too long. The disgusting yellow teeth and hollow yellow eyes are an incredible touch for the headpiece.
This one is the best of the best.
Undead Rating: 10/10
LEGO® Zombie Captain America Minifigure From Marvel Series 1
You can never go wrong with a minifigure that pays homage to the Marvel Zombies comic book series.
This Captain America is an exceptional variant of a Marvel Series LEGO® minifigure. The headpiece has a torn bottom lip, which is a massive bonus to this build. The printing and rips in Captain America’s suit are on par with the comics. Lastly, the pale-green skin and the scrapped and gashed shield is a huge bonus. This LEGO® Zombie minifigure comes at a premium but is worth the price.
Undead Rating: 9/10
Rise Up From The Dead With LEGO® Zombie Minifigures
When Halloween creeps around the corner each year, what better way to celebrate the season than with a MOC (My Own Creation) of LEGO® zombie minifigures? If you have the budget, any four of these minifigures is totally worth it.
