The LEGO Group just dropped some exciting news as they’re partnering with Netflix to create sets based on KPop Demon Hunters, the animated film that’s been absolutely dominating streaming since its June 2025 debut.

What We Know So Far
The first set arrives this spring for pre-order, with a 2026 summer release. LEGO® is keeping details close to the chest, but they’ve confirmed it will feature “the beloved supernatural creature from the movie” and is designed for ages 9 and up. They’re positioning it as a display piece that also works for play—so expect something with shelf appeal.
More sets follow in 2027 to expand the theme.
Why This Makes Sense
KPop Demon Hunters has been a genuine cultural moment. The film crossed 500 million views on Netflix, and the fictional girl group HUNTR/X made history when their song “Golden” became the first K-pop track to win a Grammy. The movie blends K-pop fandom with supernatural action—the premise follows idol group HUNTR/X who secretly hunt demons between stadium tours, eventually facing off against a rival boy band called Saja Boys who turn out to be demons themselves.
For LEGO®, this represents a chance to tap into a massive, highly engaged fanbase. KPop fandoms are known for their enthusiasm and collector mentality, which aligns well with the LEGO® adult fan demographic.
What to Expect From LEGO®
Given the “supernatural creature” description and display-focused design, my guess is we’re looking at a brick-built figure—possibly the nine-tailed fox (gumiho) that features prominently in the film’s Korean mythology elements. LEGO® has been doing more of these character-focused display sets lately, and it fits the 9+ age range they mentioned.
