Probably The Most Hype LEGO® Set To Ever Be Leaked Since The Invention Of The Toaster Oven
All but confirmed, Reddit gave birth to another masterful leak: LEGO® 75389 The Dark Falcon. This set launched on August 1, 2024, about six weeks before the LEGO® Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy show, which debuted on September 13, 2024, on Disney+. The incredible toy group was poised to set the stage for some insane sets with high investment and collectibility potential — and yeah, it sure looks like this became a full-blown LEGO® theme.
In The Darkness, Only Ambition
It looks like this set is setting us into hyperdrive with 1,579 pieces — easily several hours of build time. The Dark Side Millennium Falcon is fully decked out in a LEGO® Kylo Ren Tie Interceptor color scheme, with the Outrigger cockpit glistening with a transparent-red glass piece. Of course, it looks like we will get some real playability action with green laser cannons reminiscent of the Imperial LEGO® fleet.

We have the following LEGO® minifigures with outstanding color and LEGO® printing:
- Beach Luke
- Jedi Vader (All white suit?!)
- Bounty Hunter C-3PO (With red eyes, like in The Rise of Skywalker)

And yes, I will buy multiples of this set due to the outrageously cool minifigures. And we all knew it was Darth Jar Jar all along…
Okay, So When Is This Dropping And How Much For The Set?!
Update: it dropped on August 1, 2024 — and as of August 2026, LEGO.com lists it at $179.99 with a “Retiring soon” tag ahead of its December 31, 2026 exit. That makes the original “hefty price tag” rumor… annoyingly accurate.
Fall 2026 Price Check
• Set MSRP (LEGO.com): $179.99 (£159.99 / €179.99 at launch per Brickset)
• Retail example (Target): $152.99, was $179.99, as of April 2026, with Amazon at $149.95 that same week per Slickdeals
• Secondary-market average (Brick Ranker): roughly $138.67 from April to early October 2026, about 23% below MSRP. Brickfact had it around $140.50 back in May 2026.
I’m not going to lie—that’s a pretty dark-sided price tag. For 1,579 pieces, you are paying for the design and the collectible LEGO® Sith minifigures. Let’s be honest, it is expensive but every single one of us LEGO®-crazed fans is still going to buy this!

2026 Update: The Leak Era Is Over
The leak is long over. The Dark Falcon has been on shelves since August 1, 2024, and the show even got a four-part sequel, Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past, on Disney+ on September 19, 2025. The minifigures are still doing the heavy lifting, and if you are the type who buys a set for the characters and “accidentally” ends up with a ship, The Dark Falcon is basically a personality test.
Just so you know, set 75389 is scheduled to retire December 31, 2026 per Brickset. LEGO® won’t restock once it sells out, and popular sets tend to vanish from shelves weeks early in November and December. With secondary prices sitting below MSRP through 2026, I would snag one now while supplies last, because it could be worth something down the line in your LEGO® investment portfolio!
