LEGO® Set Files: Retirement Date, Price and Demand for Each Set

Baumlinks has 16 set files across 6 themes. 12 of those sets are still on sale, 8 are expected to leave retail within a year, and 4 have already retired. Every number below is live from the same nightly refresh that drives the retirement tracker.

A set file is what I write when a single set has a story that does not fit in a tracker row. Each one carries the same live block, the expected exit date Brickset tracks, the US price, pieces, minifigures and the Heat Index, refreshed nightly, and then the history: why the set exists, what it cost over its life, and what the exit date means for someone who still wants one. This page is the index. Every set file on the site, grouped by theme, with its current status, its exit in words and the price it sells for today, so you can see at a glance which ones still have a buy-at-retail window and which are already a reseller's problem. I add set files one at a time, when a set earns one, so this list grows slowly on purpose.

Each set file opens with a one-line answer to the question people actually search for (when does it retire, what did it cost), then a tracker sentence that deep-links to the set's own row on the retirement tracker, a hero card with the official image and the live figures, and a demand panel built from Brickset want and own counts. Sets still on sale with a tracked exit date get a countdown. After that it is the part a table cannot hold: the design story, the price history, what "retired" has meant for comparable sets, and a short FAQ written in plain words. Every set file links to its Brickset page for deeper reference, and the Amazon link on each page is marked as a paid link.

Looking for a set that is not here? The retirement tracker covers every set in production, the recently retired list covers everything that left in the last year, and the Heat Index ranks the sets collectors want most. Those are the pages I pull from when deciding which set gets the next file.

Retirement dates are community-tracked expectations, not official LEGO® announcements, and can change without warning. Market information is provided for general interest and should not be considered financial advice. Values fluctuate.
