LEGO® X-Men: The X-Mansion #76294 is expected to retire around December 2026, about 26 months after its November 2024 launch. It lists at $329.99 with 3,093 pieces and 10 minifigures, and it is sold new only at LEGO.com and LEGO® Stores.
It sits in the Last Call group on our list of retiring LEGO® sets alongside 278 other sets expected to leave in December 2026.

Expected to leave LEGO.com around December 2026
The first X-Men set built for display, and the X-Men '97 tie-in
LEGO® had made X-Men sets before this one, but they were small. Our data has six earlier X-Men releases, from Wolverine's Chopper Showdown #6866 in 2012 to X-Men X-Jet #76281 in 2024, and the largest of them is 596 pieces: vehicles, mechs, a buildable figure and a jet, none with more than a handful of minifigures. The X-Mansion was revealed on October 17, 2024 as part of the 18+ range, went on sale to LEGO® Insiders on November 1 and to everyone on November 4, with a buildable Cerebro (5009015) as the gift with purchase for the first week. It is a LEGO® exclusive, sold new only at LEGO.com and LEGO® Stores.
At 3,093 pieces it is the largest X-Men set LEGO® has produced by a wide margin. It is also the only X-Men set on sale today.
The timing follows X-Men '97, the Disney+ series that picked up the 1990s animated show in March 2024, and the set is that version of the team rather than the film cast. The 10 minifigures are Professor X, Wolverine, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Storm, Gambit, Rogue, Iceman, Bishop and Magneto. LEGO® counted five of them as first appearances in any set: Professor X, Jean Grey in her animated-series costume, Gambit, Iceman and Bishop. A brick-built Sentinel stands outside.
The building is a two-level mansion about 27 cm (10.5 inches) tall and 40 cm (16 inches) wide. The ground floor is the lobby, classroom and library; upstairs are Professor X's lab with Cerebro, Wolverine's bedroom and the medical bay. The Danger Room sits in the left wing behind a sliding door, with swappable training props, and a switch collapses the roof cupola for the obligatory property damage. The wings separate for storage, and the side connectors match the other Marvel buildings: the Daily Bugle #76178, the Sanctum Sanctorum #76218, the Avengers Tower #76269. Brickset credits the design to Joel Baker and Justin Ramsden.
A two-year run, which is short for a set this size
Brickset tracks the launch for November 2024 and the exit for December 2026, a run of about 26 months. Against the whole catalog that is unremarkable: the median set in our data that has already retired lasted about 19 months. Against its own class it is brief. Retired sets that listed at $300 or more stayed on sale a median of about 35 months, and sets of 3,000 pieces or more a median of about 30 months. The pattern holds inside Marvel: the Daily Bugle #76178 ran about 55 months, the Sanctum Sanctorum #76218 about 29, and the Avengers Tower #76269 is tracked for about 49.
Demand does not explain the short run. 4,183 Brickset members own one, 2,862 more have it on their want list, owners rate it 4.2 out of 5 and the Heat Index is 96.1. Of the 279 sets expected to leave in the December 2026 wave, it is the 16th most wanted and one of nine priced at $300 or more. The price works out to 10.7 cents per piece, above the live catalog median of 10.2 cents on our price per piece calculator, which is ordinary for a licensed 18+ building with ten minifigures. Marvel is simply a theme that turns its catalog over quickly: 43 Marvel sets are on sale right now and 22 of them share this exit date.
What the December 2026 deadline means if you want one
The tracked exit is 53 days away, about 7 weeks. For an exclusive, that date is the last day LEGO® plans to sell it, not a promise that it will be in stock until then. Brickset's LEGO.com tracking last recorded it available in the US on August 26, 2026, and the product page has shown sold out for stretches since. When a LEGO® exclusive in a December wave shows sold out in December, a restock before the date is not something to count on.
If it is on your list, check LEGO.com first, including the backorder option when it appears, since the $329.99 list price is only guaranteed there, and watch the November promotions, which is when LEGO® usually stacks Insiders points and gifts on sets this size. Amazon carries a listing, linked below; the price there moves with stock and is not LEGO's list price. None of this is a prediction about what a sealed box might be worth later. It is a note about the calendar: after December 2026 the X-Mansion joins the retired Marvel buildings that only turn up second-hand.
Frequently Asked Questions
When does LEGO® X-Men: The X-Mansion 76294 retire?
Brickset tracks the expected exit for December 2026, and this page refreshes from that data nightly. LEGO® does not announce retirement dates in advance, and dates for licensed sets can move in either direction, so treat it as a working expectation.
How much is the LEGO® X-Mansion?
$329.99 US at LEGO.com, unchanged since the November 2024 launch. At 3,093 pieces that is 10.7 cents per piece. It is a LEGO® exclusive, so other stores only carry it second-hand or through marketplace sellers.
Which minifigures come with LEGO® 76294?
10 minifigures: Professor X, Wolverine, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Storm, Gambit, Rogue, Iceman, Bishop and Magneto, plus a brick-built Sentinel. LEGO® counted Professor X, Jean Grey in her animated-series costume, Gambit, Iceman and Bishop as first appearances in any set.
Does the X-Mansion connect to the other LEGO® Marvel buildings?
Yes. It uses the same side connectors as the Daily Bugle 76178, the Sanctum Sanctorum 76218 and Avengers Tower 76269, so the four line up as a street. It is not part of the Icons Modular Buildings series; it was designed to stand beside the other Marvel buildings.
Is 76294 the biggest LEGO® X-Men set?
Yes. At 3,093 pieces it is the largest X-Men set LEGO® has made; the next biggest is Wolverine's Adamantium Claws #76250 at 596 pieces. It is the only X-Men set currently on sale.
Retirement dates are community-tracked expectations, not official LEGO® announcements, and can change without warning. Market information is provided for general interest and should not be considered financial advice. Values fluctuate.
